Cocoa Ceremony - Info & Booking

Inspiration From a Deep Human Connection

If you wish to experience the healing and heart-opening force of the ceremonial cocoa, you are welcome to book an event that can be prepared specially for your location and context. Traditionally cocoa has been served at the beginning of meaningful gatherings, such as weddings, anniversaries, and retreats but also conversations of the tribe chiefs, kings, priests, and shamans. Today it may be used during introductions to business meetings or family therapies too. Why? Because cocoa encourages communication from the heart level, not from the ego. And that is the key to the creation of healthy and inspiring moments, inventions, and projects for the awakened individuals and communities - including modern corporations wishing for the best for the planet.

Historical Context of Cocoa

Ceremonial cacoa is a healthy drink which came from the region known today as the Middle and South America. The tradition of drinking it was cultivated by the ancient civilazations of Mezoamerica: Mayan, Aztec, Olmec, Toltec and Incas. Until today during the ceremony the host connects with the spirit of the Goddess Ixcocoa whose force is related to the fertility of the planet Earth (which is seens as the food which can heal and connect the humans).

Before making such a drink, cocoa seeds are being fermented (for a short time) – that process awakens its healing and nutritious qualities. That is how it becomes so called “superfood” which one can eat everyday. It has a multiple healing qualities, for instance:

  • It is reach in vitamins and minerals (calcium, copper, sodium, magnesium, iron, zinc, potassium, phosphorus).

  • It is a source of antioxidants that counteract aging, improves the body's resistance (also to cancer) and supports the process of excretion of toxins.

  • It supports balance of the nervous system, relaxes muscles, increases elasticity, reduces pain and spasms.

  • It lowers pressure, raises "good" cholesterol (plant based fats), supports the free flow of blood and oxygen to the brain.

  • It is a natural antidepressant. It supports the release of endorphins and dopamine (feel-good hormones).

  • It stimulates gently, introduces a state of bliss, improves concentration.

  • It has a beneficial effect on libido – it is considered an aphrodisiac.

  • In short: it supports the immune system, so the body and mind can feel healthy and happy.

To receive the fullest potential of the ceremony, one shall cook and drink cocoa with intention. Intention is a carrier of the wishes or prayers - all what is needed for you, your beloved once and community. For instance: “May this drink become a source of love and joy which I will share with myself and my family.”
