CACAO CEREMONIES
info & booking

HEALING FROM NATURE

Welcome to the connection with the cacao spirit. Traditionally ceremonial cacao has been served at the beginning of meaningful gatherings, such as weddings, anniversaries, and retreats. But also conversations of the tribe chiefs, kings, priests and shamans. Today it may be used during introductions to business meetings, family therapies and team buildings too.

Why?

Because cacao encourages communication on the heart level. And that is the key to create healthy and inspiring moments, inventions and projects for awakening individuals, families and communities (including modern corporations wishing the best to our home: the planet Earth).

If you want to experience the healing and heart-opening force of the ceremonial cacao, you are welcome to join one of our events. You can also book a ceremony that can be prepared specially for your context and location.

Historical Context of Cacao

Ceremonial cacao is a healthy drink that came from the region known today as Middle and South America. The tradition of drinking it was cultivated by the civilizations of Mesoamerica: Mayan, Aztec, Olmec, Toltec and Incas. Until today during the ceremony, the master may connect with the spirit of the Goddess Ixcacao. Her force is related to the fertility of the planet Earth - seen as the food which can connect and heal.

Before preparing such a drink, cacao seeds are fermented (for a short time) – that process awakens its healing and nutritious qualities. That is how it becomes so-called “superfood” or medicine which one can eat every day. It has multiple healing qualities. For instance:

  • is reach in vitamins and minerals (calcium, copper, sodium, magnesium, iron, zinc, potassium, phosphorus);

  • is a source of antioxidants that counteract aging, improves the body's resistance (also to cancer) and supports the process of excretion of toxins;

  • supports the balance of the nervous system, relaxes muscles, increases elasticity, reduces pain and spasms;

  • lowers pressure, raises "good" cholesterol (plant-based fats), supports the free flow of blood and oxygen to the brain;

  • is a natural antidepressant, as it supports the release of endorphins and dopamine (feel-good hormones);

  • improves concentration, introduces a state of bliss, stimulates gently;

  • has a beneficial effect on libido – it is considered an aphrodisiac;

  • in short: cacao supports the immune system, so the body, mind and soul become one healthy and happy consciousness.

To receive the fullest potential of the ceremony, one shall cook and drink cacao with intention. The intention is a carrier of the wishes or prayers - all that is needed for you, your family, and your community. For instance: “May this drink become a source of love and joy which I will share with myself and my family.”

If you wish to invite such an experience to your life, feel welcome to tell us about your needs. We offer small private ceremonies at homes and gardens, as much as big events, such as music and cultural festivals, including workshops dedicated to the rise of consciousness on holistic healing, natural medicine, brother & sisterhood.

In short: we practice the complete system of Yoga.
