Ocean Awakening is about education and promotion of a healthy, joyful and sustainable lifestyle.
We perform the following:

- marketing strategies and PR for the ethical brands, companies and conscious individuals;
The idea to start this project was born in 2016 during meditation by the Atlantic Ocean. Weronika, the founder of Ocean Awakening (Polish), has been practising yoga and meditation for many years already. However, it was this powerful encounter with elements of pristine nature in Costa Vicentina natural park (Portugal), that gave her the impetus to move forward and start sharing her experiences and knowledge with others. Eventually, she has established a group of people who cooperate together and serve you today as Ocean Awakening. We invite everybody to participate in our activities and we are open to new projects. Feel welcome to get in touch anytime,
WERONIKA MARIA KOSTRZEWA
Originally a journalist working in marketing who got trained as a Yoga teacher & therapist.
The founder of Ocean Awakening.
Yoga, meditation, culinary, and surfing are my greatest passions and fortunately, they get along perfectly with each other. That is why the activities organized by Ocean Awakening are focused on that very topics.
After master's studies in journalism and communication at Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Poland) and social science at Charles University in Prague (Czechia), I started my journey to find a working environment that cares for its ethics. Since that was not an easy task, I decided to continue my education, and... it brought me to many places and teachers over the globe. Eventually, I got Yoga teacher & therapy training at Paramanand Institute (Indore, India). My greatest inspiration on the path came from the Tibetan master of meditation: H. H. the 17th Karmapa Thaye Dorje. I studied Buddhist philosophy at Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (New Delhi, India) and I am learning Sanskrit at Cambridge International Sanskrit IGCSE (R) & St. James Schools (London, UK). Currently working also on a new project YOGINIKA dedicated to the production of handcrafted meditation cushions and yoga accessories made with natural materials in Poland.
We, people living in the West, are usually overwhelmed with thinking and stress. That is why I often introduce my students to restorative yoga and simple meditation techniques - a tonic for our busy minds and exhausted bodies. I am also a certified permaculture designer and I dream of starting my little farm one day. In the meanwhile, I work as a freelancer in marketing & PR supporting companies and individuals who want to care for their ethics and natural environment.
